Mercure Troyes Centre

fantastic central spot for exploring the charming old city

I loved staying here as it was just a short walk from must-see spots like the fine Musee Saint-Loup and beautiful Eglise Saint-Nizier, making my weekend strolls around Troyes lovely with all its historic charm and great local dining options.

Very spacious rooms (including minibar, which is rare in this day and age), exceptionally helpful and friendly staff along with very secure, convenient parking.

The in-room toiletries are just a shade on the cheap side of economy range...

Proximity to centre of historic town, and ease of access from motorways

There was only a duvet on the bed, and I was hot in the night, but needed a cover of some kind - a sheet would have been good

Charming stay in Troyes

The hotel boasted an excellent combination of contemporary decor and historical charm. The spacious room was adorned with modern amenities and reliable coffee facilities, ensuring comfort after a long day of exploration.

My morning coffee routine turned into a small hassle as service during breakfast was noticeably slow, causing a bit of frustration in what was otherwise a pleasant experience.

The Mercure hotel is a stylish hotel with spacious Classic Double Rooms with modern bathrooms, a good breakfast buffet, and friendly staff eager to help. The location allows for easy walking distance to the charming old city of Troyes, perfect for sightseeing and local dining options.

Limited parking access.

Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. We stayed on a stopover to Italy so we arrived late but restaurants we just around the corner. There was a little building work outside but that will be finished soon

Easy accces for a stopover. a lot of choice of restaurants around the hotel.

The room and bed smelled of smoking even if they are all non-smoking rooms. Coffee with the express breakfast was undrinkable.

The location was magnificent, the public spaces were clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We had a satisfactory breakfast with fresh fruit and FRESH scrambled eggs, as example included.

Couldn't stay longer.

The room was spotless with separate shower and toilet with an extremely comfy bed.

Secure underground parking.

a typical 3 star hotel , room uite basic but not bad, breakfast poor.

Great spacious room, but really missed having fresh towels .

The location was very good. The hotel welcome packet was a nice touch and had informative materials needed to discover the city. Chance to checkout in the late afternoon was also a bonus.

position of hotel, secure u/g parking, clean, large and modern bedroom/bathroom.Able to opt for cheaper price on a non-flexible booking basis.

Standard, service and cost of breakfast was not representative of the hotel overall. Architecturally, its former use as an industrial building had been subsumed in the Mercure corporate makeover.
